| Caption: | I love this picture. Some kids from the neighborhood. They were quite willing to strike their favorite pose. I'm mad I didn't think to work my shadow out but I needed to keep this crop from cutting off the kids leg. You might notice the darkened edges. Many people add this vignetted look artificially in Photoshop. This aberration is due to a phenomenon called barrel distortion. Shooting at f/4 105mm will cause this if your glass isn't perfect. Thankfully the look is in and the bad design works in my favor. |
